As reported by his friends and co-workers, Ken Henderson passed away last Sunday. Ken was a SQL guru and author of the Database Developer's Guide with Delphi 2 and Delphi 3 Client/Server Developer's Guide among others. I've met him at least once during a Borland Conference back in the early years of Delphi, when he had great Delphi and SQL stories - Danny Thorpe also mentioned one.
Ken's last book SQL Server 2005 Practical Troubleshooting: The Database Engine is one that I had ordered from Amazon, but haven't read, yet. That will be a strange experience, learning from the master knowing that he passed away.
Rest in peace, Ken, you will be missed. My condolences to your family and children.
