I've just e-mailed the first ESD licenses of Delphi 2009 to my customers in the BeNeLux. I haven't seen an official announcement, yet, but that will follow shortly.

If you're from the BeNeLux and want to get your hands on Delphi 2009, feel free to order an ESD license from me at http://www.bobswart.nl/CodeGear.

Guest 08/09/08 12:13:14WOW!
Bob Swart 08/09/08 14:56:25The version number in the About Box of Delphi 2009 says 12.0.3170.16989, files are dated August 29th (the first Friday after the announcement).
Bob Swart 08/09/08 16:58:12Installation download files (about 148 MB in 103 files in .7zip format) are now saved by default in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Rad_Studio_Downloads which makes it easier to save these files (and/or burn them on a DVD). Of course, Administrator can be the name of the actual user account you're logged in as ;-)
The unpacked files - about 840 MB - are placed in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\<65B1AA84-C1DF-4A2E-A28C-E242BD7DE4B3>, but these are only needed during installation.
Bob Swart 08/09/08 18:00:45FWIW, the What's New in Delphi and C++Builder 2009 topic in the new online help can be found at ms-help://embarcadero.rs2009/devcommon/whatsnewtiburon_xml.html
DeltaAziz (delphi4arab.com) 08/09/08 21:15:37Finally Delphi2009 is out :)
geo 08/09/08 21:18:56where?
MaN 08/09/09 06:26:13 how i can Download it ?? Or buy It ???
Bob Swart 08/09/09 08:56:00You can purchase Delphi 2009 from your local reseller or - if you're in the US - from CodeGear itself using the web shop option.
As far as I know, there is no trial version or ISO download available at this time. But ESD versions are available (which means you download a smaller installer which then in turn download all required files based on the serial number for the edition you've purchased).
geo 08/09/09 18:18:01I've done the pre-order, I'm just looking for the download (ESD)....
Bob Swart 08/09/09 19:02:08geo: the company (reseller or CodeGear) where you did the pre-order should be able to send you the ESD download locatie. I've got it, but I only give it to my customers (together with their new serial number for Delphi 2009).
Bob Swart 08/09/10 08:31:46Subscription customers are said to get their e-mail with the ESD download information and serial number on Thursday (US-time).
Babak Ahadi (Delphi-Magic.com) 08/09/10 09:10:55Nice!!!! Its More Faster Than CRD 2007 With New ability .

randy 08/09/10 22:04:55Hi Bob ,I want to ask you : As long as the Delphi 2009 is fully Unicode Support , why some important Components are not Right To Left Align like the TTreeView and TListView . Cause some languages are written from Right to Left like Arabic , Thai .... What should we call this ?! is is a Bug or what ..... Regards Randy
